Queer Lagos (LGBTQIA+)

Welcome to Queer Lagos. This group gladly welcomes all members of the LGBTQIA+ and friends community. The objective of this group is to provide a variety of social events and activities designed to bring the Lagos queer community together frequently to socialize with their friends and neighbors.

It may take a few months for this group to grow, and that’s ok. We can still begin to host events and activities on a smaller scale while we wait for our group to grow.Social activities will include but not limited to:

Sunday Brunch
Meet for Coffee
Happy Hour
BBQ Picnics
Pub Crawls
Hiking Trips
Cycling Trips
Day Trips to Nearby Cities
Wine and Cheese Parties
Board Game Nights
Potlucks
Mini Golf
And many other events and activities. Many of these events will be informal, impromptu, and “come as you are”. Others will be well planned out in advance.

This group is not designed as a “hook up” hub, or a place to advertise yourself or your business. It is strictly reserved for events and activities that bring the local LGBTQIA+ community together.

Individual group event and activity leaders cannot charge members money just to participate in their event or activity.

Some activities may require a minimum attendance predetermined by the group leader, and may be cancelled if the minimum number of attendees do not sign up.

All members are free to host an activity that meets our goal of bringing our LGBTQIA+ community together. Ideally, we can create activities that include both expats as well as our local queer Portuguese friends and neighbors.

All events or activities that do not meet these criteria will be discarded.

Other gay and gay friendly groups are free to join us and/or post their events and activities here also, so long as they meet the above criteria, located within 100 km, and promote the LGBTQIA+ community.
