What we’re about
Meditation | Asana | Breathwork | Community
My name is Ed and I started practising yoga in 2009, and since then, it has gone on to change my life, helping me in my recovery journey from PTSD, addiction and a hectic lifestyle. Yoga helps me to participate in life more fully, with fewer fears and more joy. Initially it was for improving my flexibility and physical fitness, but today the benefits have stretched to give me a mental and spiritual resilience. In 2020, I started my 200-hour teacher training and completed it in 2023 as I wanted to share my practice with others such as yourself to help you access the peace and calm that exists within us all. I believe these are some of the human superpowers that allow us to practice love, compassion, and connection. I share an LGBT+ inclusive Hatha style of yoga, a conscious breath-based practice, which makes it suitable for most people. If you have any questions feel free to each out to me.
This is more of a meet in than a work out and I love to share some of the wisdom from Yoga for a queer context.
What are the 10 suggestions and practices that we can incorporate into our day to help us live good, whole lives?
What are the 5 bodies that we can start to experience the world through?
Who am I, if I am more than my thoughts, my feelings, my flesh and even my identity? And how do these all work together?
Well these are some of the questions we give space to in practice.
From seated meditations, breathwork and movement practices, there is something for everyone and all experience and activity levels.
