Wake Forest Area Boardgaming Night - Winter Games & White Elephant Swap!

Join us at Game Theory at the Factory in Wake Forest for some board games! This recurring event is particularly for members in the Wake Forest area and is cross-posted to the Triangle Strategy Games meetup. Each month there will be a theme or style of game for that night, so check about a week before the event for that month's theme.

For December we are of course repeating our very popular Christmas party from last year, with a slew of Christmas and winter-themed board games to play for all levels of gamers, as well as a White Elephant game exchange. Bring any wrapped new or used game valued at around $25 and everyone will get to pick either a game to open, or a previously opened one to steal! Only 3 steals of any game allowed and then it can't be stolen anymore. First person to open something will get a chance to steal at the end.

Some of the games I will have to play include Santa's Workshop, a variety of very simple card games based on Christmas movies like Elf and A Christmas Story, the Nordic winter-themed Ticket to Ride, Snow Tails, Winterhaven Woods, Klondike Rush, etc. Feel free to bring your own Christmas/Winter themed games too!

Some refreshments will be available as well, but contributions are welcome! Please post if you are going to bring something so we don't double-up too much!
