Great race for beginners! Run at the Rock Trail race near Burlington, NC. Beautiful course with 5K/10K/Half Marathon trail race option. Only about 1hr 30mins from Umstead. Races start at 9:00AM. Recommend giving yourself about 2 hours to get to the park.
