I'm getting the holiday spirit early this year!
Let's treat ourselves to a matinee performance of A Victorian Nutcracker, at one of my favorite venues, the Westbrook Performing Arts Center (attached to the Westbrook Middle School). Bonus - plenty of free parking!

A Victorian Nutcracker is a retelling of the classic story of a young girl’s Christmas Eve dream, brought on by a curious gift of a nutcracker, in which she travels to the Sugar Plum Fairy’s Land of the Sweets. This version is unique to Portland and its history, as the first act takes place in the Victoria Mansion with characters pulled directly from Portland’s past. Get tickets here:
Portland Ballet Co. presents "A Victorian Nutcracker" - Westbrook Performing Arts Center (westbrookpac.org) I have a ticket in Upper section 2, row Q, seat 15. Currently there is a lot of availability in that area. The show starts at 2:00 but let's meet in the lobby 1:30ish.
