Modern Board Games and Social

This event is cross posted on Meetup and Facebook Events (we have 6-10 people showing up regularly)

This meetup has a focus of being social and having fun. Grab a beer and learn a new game. We will pick a game based on your experience level and interest. Light weight games that facilitate socializing is what we typically will play but all level of board gamers are welcome.

Modern boardgames have come a long ways since the classics like monopoly, risk, and scrabble. They are engaging, keep you sharp, have easy to learn mechanics that transfer from game to game, and most of all you get to meet new people doing something fun. We don't play competitively so don't be intimidated by what the game may look like. We have great teachers, and interesting members that have games of all difficulty levels, themes, and styles. Join us for great beers and games!
