Dalí Dome Night featuring Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon music
Details
Now playing in The Dalí Dome is "Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon". Over 50 years after its original release in 1973, celebrate and experience the iconic album in 360 degrees of sight, sound and sensation.
The Dalí Museum is sharing a second immersive experience in its futuristic dome: A 42-minute long, multi-sensory journey through the entirety of Pink Floyd’s “The Dark Side of the Moon.” Each song is played in surround sound. Images of dancing lasers, swirls of stars and Pink Floyd prisms envelop the viewer. During the show, visitors can soak it all in from a chair, walk around the curve of the dome or lie on the carpet and watch the colors melt overhead. [Laying on the carpet is my preference.]
Beth Bell, marketing director of The Dalí Museum, said tickets are already starting to disappear. The link to buy tickets is https://thedali.org/dome-night-pink-floyd-the-dark-side-of-the-moon/.
The museum’s Café Gala will also be open on the evenings of the experience. It will feature a special menu with a Dark Side of the Moon theme.
