18:35 - Breaking change in scale- Shahar Zilberman, Team Leader, Vibe Design System @ monday.com
This lecture will discuss the challenges of managing large-scale migrations in open-source libraries, using the Vibe design system as a case study. We will explore how to handle breaking changes effectively, balancing the frequency of major releases with the complexity of migrations, and ensuring minimal disruption for library consumers. Key focus areas include strategies for preparing breaking changes, utilizing experimental features, and providing clear migration paths and tools to support smooth transitions.
Shahar Zilberman leads the Vibe design system at monday.com, focusing on the development and scaling of the company’s design system and related UI tools. Previously, she was the Client Infrastructure Team Lead at eToro, where she created the company’s design system and developed key front-end infrastructure.
19:05 - Nextjs - Behind the Magic (Talk will be in English)- Ariel Shulman, Software Engineer @ Illumex
Nextjs brings a lot of innovative concepts to the table with the purpose of simplifying our DX when building web applications. These days with Nextjs, getting a website up and running has never been easier.
But… Magic isn’t free- this DX comes with tradeoffs. Tradeoffs which we must be aware of while developing.
Alongside the magic there is a set of limitations- http requests modifications, error management, server components and server actions allowed data types- and more.
The goal of this talk is to shed light over the Nextjs inner workings so we can enjoy the magic and understand its guidelines.Ariel is a Full Stack engineer at illumex. She is passionate about software architecture, graph theory and demystifying how do things really work.
When she is not behind a keyboard she’s probably surfing or playing guitar.19:35 - Break
19:50 - LLM Driven multi-interface design with React server components - Nir Kaufman, Frontend Tech Lead @ Tikal
