What we’re about
We are a small book club of 30-something to mid-40's women that meet at least once a month for chatting, drinking, eating, and a little talking books. Our group is all about reading a good book, making new friends, and having fun! This group is for women at all stages of life - single, married, kids, no kids - this group is about taking a little time back for us!
We pick a new book each month and meet at a coffee shop or wine bar - usually on the last Thursday of the month. Our books are picked by our members by vote and can vary widely. We typically read fiction, but will have the occasional non-fiction book (reading the book is never a prerequisite for showing up). We also love trying new restaurants, going to see movies for the books we've read and just getting together once in a while.
Meetups will typically be in the Desert Ridge and Norterra area.
NEW MEMBERS:
We love meeting new people! This group is kept small on purpose. Everyone really gets to know each other. For that reason, we only take on new members occasionally as space allows. New members should plan to be active and attend events. Pending members may be declined rather than just sitting in limbo. It's simply because we may not have space at that moment and don't want to keep you waiting. You're always welcome to try again.
