Classic Board Game Championship at Warfare 24

Warfare is a well-established wargames-based convention, currently held in Farnborough, which has had a steadily increasing board games section in recent years.
Unfortunately, due to problems, they haven't managed to promote this side of things, so after a brief conversation with the organisers I've offered to try to round up a few board gamers to try to maintain that presence. Can't have the Wargamers having all the fun!

There's a dedicated free gaming space for board gamers, but here I've focussed on their annual Board Game Championships, which risks cancellation unless we can rescue it!

It takes place on Saturday 16th November, with the first games starting at 11 a.m.. You'll be playing 3 games: Ticket to Ride, Carcassonne and Catan - all classics and all easy to pick up if you've never played, so ignorance is no excuse.
Competition ticket is £15, including entrance to Warfare 2024, and can be purchased on their site, where full details of the main event can be found.

If you're available on Saturday and fancy helping maintain the presence of games at this local convention get yourself a ticket. I'll see you there and you may even get to take the trophy home.
