What we’re about
The purpose of this group is to have a place for people to experience a sound bath (also know as Sound Wellness or Sound Healing) in Mesa Arizona and surrounding valley. For that reason we created "The Sound Wellness Room" at our wellness center.
What should you expect before, during, and after a sound bath?
"Before sound baths, you’ll want to give yourself enough time to arrive and get set up in the space to not add extra stress to yourself. Allow yourself to settle and set intentions for your session, as it’s nice to have a minute to connect with your practitioner and the community.
During the sound baths, expect to go on a journey that affects the mind, body, and spirit. You may feel tingly sensations in the body, and you may experience physical or energetic release in the body that can sometimes feel euphoric, emotional, or even uncomfortable.
As you go deeper into the journey and shift into different states of consciousness, most people feel deeply relaxed and at peace. The mind begins to calm down, making space for deeper self-inquiry. Some people are so relaxed that they fall unconscious, which is wonderful to let the body receive rest. I always remind people that it’s likely that your body temperature may also drop during a sound bath, so make sure you are comfortable with a blanket and pillow!
Afterwards, because our bodies are made of water and so responsive to sound and vibration, the effects of the sound bath can continue to stay with you for days later.
Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
Sound baths are held every other Tuesday night at 7 pm at our Wellness Center but there are times when we will have sound bath events during the week or weekends. Check the schedule below or visit our website. https://www.realignyourlifeaz.com/sound-baths.
We offer 1-2-1, couples, groups, corporate and floating sound bath sessions for relaxation, balancing the chakras, stress and anxiety and more.
FLOATING & FREE-FLOATING SOUND BATHS.
This service is a mobile sound bath service, we service private residence, resorts, hotels, and clubs.
Floating sound baths you will be on a float that is 39" wide x 75" long and 10" high.
The only part of you that gets wet are your feet when you board the float on the beach area of the pool. Sounds are created by Steve at pool edge.
Free-floating sound baths are when you are in the water floating with the use of floaties on your body. You lay back and relax as Steve plays bowls and instruments near and on the body creating vibration and sound all around you.
