Recess Games Calendar

Come to Recess Games and join The Gathering! Magic Academy: Learn to Play is a free, casual event for new players. Learn the basics and face off against your fellow planeswalkers with provided Welcome Decks. Players who purchase a Beginner Box, Starter Collection, Starter Kit, or 6 Play Boosters in-store at any point during the event receive a gift-with-purchase promo! A Wizards account will be required to receive event materials. Be sure to come back on the 23rd for Magic Academy: Deck Building!

You've learned to play, now put your new skills to the test! Magic Academy: Deck Building is a casual event where new players who've learned the basic rules of the game can try their hand at playing sealed matches. Players will receive 6 Play Boosters of Magic Foundations and construct a 40 card deck to try out their new skills. Entry is $35, but players may use 100 Loyalty Rewards points to discount it to $25. Participants will receive a Darksteel Colossus promo while supplies last. Basic lands will be provided for players to borrow for their decks. A Wizards account is required for this event.
