Mediation teaches us to bring Mindfulness into our daily lives.
Whether you are setting aside a dedicated period of time or finding moments of quiet reflection to focus on the breath, the end result is the same.
Not only does Mindfulness and Mediation relax the chattering mind, it also eases tension and anxiety; lowers heart rate and blood pressure; and reduces the production of stress hormones.
I call it "Pushing the RESET button."
When we are calm and centered, it is easier to tap into our intuition and inner wisdom.
There are many different ways to mediate, so every week we explore many options and topics.
