Work isn’t working for most people.
How many times have you dragged through a business process you found pointless? Been told of a new direction having never been consulted? Sat in a meeting feeling you couldn’t share your real thoughts?
The next phase in organizational evolution goes by many names: New Ways of Working, Self-Management, Human-Centered Work, but at its essence is a belief that people have a fundamental need to create something meaningful through their work, move towards mastery, direct their own work lives, and progress on a journey of self-actualization.
Work is often unproductive and unengaging because companies don’t empower their people to take ownership and make real decisions. The few that have are joyful, healthy, human, and successful.
This group is about connecting those of us interested in the ideas above to share, inspire, workshop projects, socialize and really whatever else emerges - we’re excited to meet you!
