What we’re about
PLEASE READ: Remember the Peninsula Rules & Regulations
Remember the Peninsula was born in December 2022 out of a desire to enjoy and celebrate the great restaurants, recreation, events, and sights available in our collective back yard. It was also a reaction to the complications posed by the bridge tunnel, extensive road work, and traffic that comes along with events on the Southside.
We have since evolved into a group with certain defining characteristics:
* We prefer smaller, more manageable event RSVPs to ensure attendees have the opportunity to get to know each other, share conversations, and allow everybody a chance to feel heard and welcome.
* Because of this, we do also put attendee limits on public events and festivals, usually 15-20 individuals, as we attend as a group and lack of attendance limits can make the these events harder to manage.
* Restaurant events are generally capped at 10, sometimes 15.
* We enjoy good food, good drinks, music, new experiences, and most of all, each other.
Please bear this in mind before joining. If this particular style of group does not appeal to you, that's alright, and we encourage you to find another one that does. This is what we do and how we do it and we welcome anyone who's on board with it.
We expect all members to read, know, and abide by the Rules & Regulations linked above.
