SAY THANKS TO OUR COVID HEROES

The world’s population is aware of the massacre being perpetrated by an invisible virus strain. Tens of millions have been stricken and millions have perished. We have been forced to take refuge behind masks, distance from each other and even cloister ourselves in our homes. Yet we still have to go on living.
We must take care of those falling ill and we must continue to provide services for those who must continue living. And all the people who care for the ill, and the people who provide those services, from the cashier at the supermarket, to the office worker; from the trash collectors to the retail clerks; from the truck driver to the delivery person; from the medical staff to the waiter, they all know they are risking their lives. AND STILL THEY DO IT.
They are not out for recognition, but they deserve our recognition. Heroes are not only those in war trenches but those who risk their lives, day in and day out, so that we may go on living. Kids that work at a retail store who might be infected by an involuntary carrier of the disease, who dreads coming home after their shift and infect their loved ones at home. THOSE ARE OUR COVID HEROES.
The people who sacrifice staying home, wearing masks, keeping their distance, limiting their activities in order not to expose themselves and risk contaminating their families. THOSE ARE OUR COVID HEROES.
You now have the opportunity to thank them all in general but to have those heroes you know receive a certificate of recognition for their heroic sacrifice. If you have already registered your gratitude or if you have yet to do so, this is your opportunity to thank all and to thank members of your family, neighbors, fellow workers and students, members of your church and clubs and acquaintances in general to let them know their sacrifice is appreciated. Nom innate them to receive a Certificate of Gratitude.
