Sacred Sound and Living

The Gong Journeywork “Wisdoming” process draws from the core “trance” elements of Dreamwork, Yoga Nidra, Hypnotherapy, Shamanic Journeywork, etc… and brings participants to a state of awareness beyond the conscious mind where your inner guidance or “Higher Self”is more easily accessible. Once this “Altered State” is reached, all manner of vision, insight, intuition and knowing become available to guide us towards true happiness, health and wholeness.
During group sessions there is the added benefit of “group wisdom” gleaned through the facilitated sharing of individual journey experiences to gain even broader universal meaning and insights.
The process includes:
* Identifying and manifesting your heartfelt question

* Deep guided relaxation
* Gong Journey Experience
* Journaling/recording the details of your experience
* Group processing of visions/information
Participants are encouraged to a journal or notebook and blankets, pillows, yoga mats, etc… to lie comfortably.

Join us and experience a variety of tools and techniques for integrating sacred sound into your teaching and/or personal healing practices. The workshop will be led by Sound Healer Helena Nash and Sacred Sound Artist/musician Todd Glacy. The class is an introduction and exploration of the basic principles and practices that make up this fascinating and easily accessible field.
Major topics covered for this workshop:
* Basics of sound and vibration and its impact on our physical/ mental/spiritual health and well-being
* Explanation and demonstration of a variety of instruments including Voice, Gong, Native American flutes, singing bowls, drums, didgeridoo, etc...
* Extended sound bath experience
* Tips and suggestions for integrating sound into your personal and/ or teaching practice
Be sure to bring yoga mat/blankets/pillows to lie comfortably on the floor.
