I have booked a lovely villa with a pool in Puerto Pollensa for a 5 night post-winter cycling break. This comfortable villa is just 0.6km from the centre of the town and has 5 bedrooms which gives flexibility for accomodating both couples and singles. Some of you will have been to Majorca before will know it's a great area for cycling and we shall be out every day soaking up the sunshine on this beautiful island.

Majorca is known for its fabulous cycling routes and Sa Calobra and the Formentor Lighthouse are two great road rides that we shall be undertaking during our stay. This year, however, we shall also be embarking on part of the Toros de Gravel (Gravel Bulls) route which is an exceptional gravel ride and one that should be on every cyclist's tick list. I have got an exceptional deal but until I have final numbers and room allocation I can't give a fixed price per person, although it is likely to be plus or minus £220 but single room occupancy will be more. Return fights are around £100 with Easyjet and car hire costs can be shared. For two in a car allow around £125 for a car share for the week. We shall be using cars to transport our bikes to the various ride start points so it's one car for every two cyclists.

I would suggest that once we have a group together we bulk buy our flights to ensure we don't secumb to the dreaded Dynamic Pricing. My aim is to get together a good group who will be willing to particpate in all of the planned activies and, if you're successful, I will ask for your **non-refundable** share of the villa hire upfront.
