IMPORTANT: If you have a Garmin/Wahoo, please ensure you load the route so you can help the ride leader navigate and if necessary take over the lead in the event that the leader is unable to complete the ride or his/her Garmin/Wahoo becomes faulty.

Any new members who are unsure of their level are requested to attend our weekly Saturday Meet the Members Ripley/Wisley ride to acquire their provisional club ranking. This will enable us to ensure that you are placed in the right group on Sunday Club Rides.

To enable your ride to be safe and enjoyable for all, please observe these three golden rules of group cycling:

1. Do not ride off the front/surge. When you take the front, check behind after a few seconds to make sure you haven’t opened up a gap.
2. Look behind regularly and shout "Slow!" or "Man down!" if a gap develops in the group behind you. If you hear a shout of "Slow!" or "Man down!", pass it up the line.
3. Regroup at junctions and tops of hills.

Essential - please bring two water bottles, snacks, cash for coffee, lights, a pump, Allen keys/multi-tool and at least one spare inner tube.

The aim is to ride together, waiting at junctions and at tops of hills, if required, to keep the group together. This is a "no drop" ride!

However, in case you get separated from the group for whatever reason, make a note of your ride leader’s mobile number before the ride starts. If you are struggling to keep up with the group then the ride leader will help you to get to a train station or to navigate your way home safely.

Please do not turn up to the event if you haven’t RSVP’d or the event is full.

If you are unable to attend for any reason, please amend your RSVP asap to allow someone else to attend in your place.
