\*\*NOTE --> The session for the month of July will be on 7/17/23 and the session for August has been cancelled. Sessions resume in October. (No Session in September due to Labor Day).

Join us for an evening of connection and reflection as we sit and listen to and support one another.

Are you a woman who is a trauma survivor and is looking for a safe place to talk with a community of women who have been there too? Well, you have found the right group! In this group, we talk about our struggles or issues and help each other through it with support and empathy.

This group is hosted by the nonprofit organization &Rise. Please note: if you aren't ready for in-person support groups yet, &Rise offers free virtual weekly support groups that are 100% private, 100% confidential, and 100% supportive!

Please note, this is a survivor-led support group with a community of female survivors supporting and talking with one another about their experiences and healing.

We have an amazing group of ladies that are kind and know what you are going through. You do not have to suffer alone or in silence, we are here for you! YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

After our sharing session, facilitator Evelyn Luviano will guide us through a crystal bowl sound meditation to assist with reducing feelings of tension, and anxiety, and to create the space needed for self-compassion. Following the 15-20 minute meditation, we will make our way to a private outdoor area for a non-denominational, intentional ritual that will serve as a symbolic release of the past and what no longer serves us, as well as a calling for healing and newness.

Below are a few important notes I wanted to share ahead of our session:
· The most important component of this healing work is intention
· Please begin meditating on your intentions for our time together now (1 day before and 1 hour before event if possible)
· Some gentle guiding questions:
o What are you seeking to release or let go of? (Examples: shame, guilt, self-doubt)
o What is it that you seek to embody? What do you hope to receive? (Examples: self-compassion, joy, healing)
· Your intentions are just as important as the guidance I facilitate and it is your intentions and your work that are the most POWERFUL.
· During our session: As you set your intention, I ask that you call that intention forth with all your might/energy, wish it with all your being. It is important that you have no hesitation or doubt because then this will not bring it forth, it will serve as a block. I facilitate a sacred container for you sweet friends, but your intention and openness creates the receiving. Begin to call on these intentions and this energy now.
· Our time together will conclude with a non-denominational burning bowl ritual that will take place outside, in the back of the building. If you are not comfortable being near fire, please let Jennifer or myself know and we are more than happy to assist with the burning portion
