"YESTERYEAR" BOOK CLUB GATHERING

So a different spin on a book club gathering but an idea a friend shared and thought it would be something different to try:

This book club gathering is two fold:
1. To highlight a book (or book series) that was one you treasured, was poignant to you, and/or you connect to memories as a child, teen or young adult
2. (One of your) favorite books of all time.

You will be invited to share the books you chose and provide a brief synopsis of each book book beginning with why the first choice of book holds a special memory to you and why the second book lands into the favorite bucket. A brief discussion will ensue to see if others read either of the book, know of the book and can add commentary to it. We will then go round the group with each person invited to share their books from "yesteryear".

A potential outcome? Gain some new reading or gift ideas in the lead up to the holidays!

I'm selecting Hilton Garden Inn as it provides ease of access, parking, and the option for food and drink (hopefully this time the kitchen will be open).
