What we’re about
Rockford Circle of Women (RCW) is for adult women living in or near Rockford who are interested in getting out in the community, meeting with other women, enjoying companionship, and growing their social networks. Any woman can be part of the group, but most members are over age 50.
There will be a wide-range of activities available such as going for hike, going to watch a play or listen to a concert, going out for coffee/brunch/dinner at a restaurant, meeting at someone's home to share a meal, going kayaking/canoeing, visiting a museum/art fair/gallery, whatever strikes the interest of at least 2 women.

See all- Trip to the Theater: POTUSWest Side Show Room, ROCKFORD, IL
Rockford has a theater company that is a true gem: West Side Show Room. In their own words, WSSR "presents plays that are wildly entertaining, but never allow the audience to withdraw into complacency. Whether the work is old/new, dramatic/comedic, realistic/absurd, our performances are up-close, immersive, risky, confrontational, and challenge the audience to expand their view of the world."
You buy your own ticket in advance. WSSR is committed to making theater accessible to everyone, so you don't have to pay anything for a ticket, but donations are welcomed.

The play starts at 4pm. The WSSR recommends arriving 30 minutes prior to the start time.
ALERT: POTUS contains strong profanity throughout, adult humor, and audience interaction.
POTUS
WRITTEN by Selina Fillinger
DIRECTED by Epic JonesOne four-letter word is about to rock 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. When the President unwittingly spins a PR nightmare into a global crisis, the seven brilliant and beleaguered women he relies upon most risk life, liberty, and the pursuit of sanity to keep the commander-in-chief out of trouble.
Selina Fillinger’s brilliant, all-female farce took Broadway by storm in a star-studded production that earned three 2022 Tony nominations.
