Lets get together on Monday, Dec. 2nd at 10:00 am and hike the **Valley Lane Town Forest in Kingston NH** (PIN below). This hidden gem consists of two loops and a spur, and we'll do it all covering 2.77 miles with a elevation gain of 280 feet. The terrain is rolling and covered with leaves, rocks and roots, so I suggest good hiking shoes. The trails are mostly single track but they widen out in a few spots, and they cross several streams (with bridges), one with a small waterfall. The spur will bring us to an old fieldstone cellar foundation.

There are several benches along the trails, but one in particular is up on a ledge with a nice lookout point so bring a snack and we can stop there and take in the scenery. I did the hike in 1:20, but with a group and stopping for the scenery and a snack, lets give ourselves 2 hours.

Location: put Valley Lane Town Forest Kingston NH in your GPS and it should bring you right there. You could also just put in Valley Lane, Kingston NH, and the parking lot is at the very end of Valley Lane.
