COVID POLICY:
We strongly advise that everyone who is able to be vaccinated should be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have one or more additional booster vaccines inline with each person's eligibility in accordance with national medical advice. Please do not attend if you have any COVID or similar symptoms
Social activities, dinners, pub nights, walks, etc!
RockUp! Social Network has been formed to provide a large range of social events in and around Melbourne. It's objective is to be a friendly community within which members can socialise and enjoy each others company. While most members are likely to be single people this is not a requirement to join the group.
Joining RockUp!
For the security of members, potential members will be asked to provide answers to several questions before they can be accepted. We are open and welcoming to new members but we want active participants not people signing up and then forgetting to come along.
Registering to attend
In the spirit of its name, RockUp!, many events held by the group will allow for members to be able to attend and RSVP at short notice. This allows for those who have busy / uncertain schedules to regularly find something they can attend. Numbers of members shown as attending these events may be lower than the actual number. Members should always cancel/change RSVP to no in advance if you become unable to attend.
Booking Policy
PLEASE CHANGE YOUR RSVP to NO at LEAST 24 HOURS BEFORE THE EVENT IF YOU ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO ATTEND. (If you have to cancel after this change your RSVP at leave a comment or message the host as well!) FAILURE TO COMPLY MAY LEAD TO YOU BEING BANNED.
Who provides the activities
Activities (Meetups) are organised by a network of hosts organising and hosting functions as they wish. The group is not intended to be profit making, but to provide a social community for its members. Members will suggest events which can then be added and published. This grows the network of hosts.
What age group does RockUp! cater for?
While we aim to cater for all ages, most of our members are at least well into their 40s. As a guide hosts may flag some events to indicate what age range they expect an event to be most suited to.
