The pre-convocation discussion is open to everyone. One of the great obstacles to students who enter into mystical studies is depicted in the famous image of the Mons Philosophorum or Mountain of the Philosophers as one searches for the philosopher's stone: a lion blocks the ascent and represents spiritual pride. The lion threatens to devour those who ascend the path upwards without humility, tolerance, and compassion for others.

The 2:00 p.m. Convocation is for Rosicrucian members only. Please bring your credentials of membership. The Convocation discourse is entitled "The Pitfalls of the Spiritual Path."
