Above the Temple of Apollo at Delphi in ancient Greece was inscribed the injunction: ‘Know thyself.’ This is ever the purpose of each Rosicrucian student.

This series will approach this “self-knowing” or “self-remembering” through symbolic concepts such as the Neteru of ancient Egypt, archetypes, universal processes in nature, and some elements of sacred science.
The discussions will endeavor to aid each participant in connecting with the innate qualities of the soul personality that illuminates the answer to the question: “Who am I?”
From the realization of this awareness, we will discuss how to “Activate” these talents in the “Service” of humanity for bringing about a state of peace, healing, and unity in our community and world.

Just back from leading the Rosicrucian Tour through Central Europe, Grand Master Julie Scott will share some of the art, science, and mysticism of this area. We’ll explore the beauty and mystique of Budapest, Vienna, Prague, and Krakow, from prehistoric times 36,000 years ago to ancient Roman times to the transformative periods of the Alchemists, the Renaissance, and the Enlightenment. We’ll stroll along historic Nerudova Street in Prague with its houses decorated with alchemical symbols instead of street numbers and explore Vienna’s Kuntshammer – the largest collection of objects from Emperor Rudolf II’s personal collection of human-made and natural wonders. We will also learn about the composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, artist Gustav Klimt, and scientist Marie Curie, and others from this area. Join Grand Master Scott on this journey through the Art, Science, and Mysticism of Central Europe.

As students of life, we need to be attentive to how mystical laws and principles apply to the wide-ranging subjects of study in the great laboratory of the Cosmos. In this manner, our lives become much more meaningful and efficient in fulfilling our duties and mission in life. As an example, the nurse and mystic Florence Nightingale dedicated her life’s work to the development and application of statistics for the progressive reform and transformation of health practices and hospitals. In a similar spirit, we will consider ways in which the ideas of statistics are related to, and have parallels with, mysticism. Join Hugh McCague as we continue to explore Rosicrucian laws and principles and their creative expression and application for the mastery of life, harmonious living, and service.
