What we’re about
The Round Table Book Discussion is a unique book club that gathers community members to discuss books—nonfiction or fiction, podcasts, films, and articles on topical cultural, political, and social issues.
BYOP—Bring Your Own Passion. What have you read or viewed about the world today that you want to discuss with others? Present a brief summary of your book/video to initiate the 5 to 10 minute discussion.
If you want to participate in discussion without reporting, feel free to attend.
We discuss and debate a wide range of topics, including environmentalism, current psychological issues, internet culture, women’s rights, economic struggles, technology, Constitutional rights, authoritarianism, historical eras, contemporary and classic fiction.
We meet in-person at a well-ventilated café or outdoor patio.
