My name is Jonathan Heimbach. I am a follower of Jesus Christ and seek to bring the gospel to those I meet but particularly to children. I was born in DC but raised in Wake Forest, NC. I am a local and recently moved back to the area for work at a local architecture firm and a call to ministry at Ridgecrest Baptist Church as the children’s pastor. My wife Nikki and I have been blessed with three children: Malachi (6), Titus (5), and Anya (2). We are passionate about working with children and their parents. We have been involved in several areas of ministry through the years but God has called us to the children’s ministry in this season. Before moving back to the area in April of 2019, we lived in Guam for a few years as missionaries. This experience deepened our love and passion for sharing the gospel with the next generation. My wife, Nikki, and I are both graduates of Southeastern Baptist Seminary and love to use all of these experiences to serve God and the church. We look forward to serving you and your children as we grow together closer to our Lord Jesus Christ. And my answers to the two ever important childhood questions are, my favorite color is Ash Grey and my favorite number is 3.

Our family verse is “Whether, then you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31 (NASB) We truly seek to live by this and teach our children to seek God’s glory.
