November Meetup - Data Engineering and Browser Automation
Details
Wellrailed has renamed to Ruby Wellington - but it's the same as usual just with a different name. We'll listen to some talks then share some pizza and a drink together!
Everyone is welcome - whether you're just starting out or a seasoned professional! While we're primarily a Ruby/Rails meetup, many of the topics will be applicable to all tech stacks.
Host
This November the team at PaperKite will host us at their offices.
PaperKite is a digital agency with a strong focus on mobile application development. They provide the tech behind BPMe, and are currently working with Te Whatu Ora on an app for everyone in Aotearoa called My Health Record.

Toh Jagraphob
The Data Engineering ecosystem has exploded recently in the rise of AI. Ruby seems to be left behind in this space but what can we do about it ? How can we Ruby devs take advantage of this Data age ? - Browser Automation: The Glue of the NZ finance industry

About Ruby Wellington
Ruby Wellington (formally known as Wellrailed, Wellington-Rails) is a Wellington, New Zealand based tech meetup which has been part of the community for well over 10 years! Wellington is home to many companies who use Ruby so we're doing bi-monthly meetups hosted by a different company.
If you're interested in doing a talk or hosting an event, please get in touch with co-organisers Jordan Crawford or AJ Esler via Meetup.com or via the RubyNZ Slack.
