Need some extra miles in your week? Let’s join the South Coast Road Runners and run the Hicks Canyon Hiking and Riding Trail. (It's called a "trail" but it's paved) This will be more of a training run compared to our Wednesday evening social run, but all levels of runners are welcome.
Co Hosted by the South Coast Road Runners (SCRR) (http://roadrunners.org/) - The South Coast Roadrunners have been a fixture in the Southern California running community since 1984 and are based in Orange County, CA. We will be joining their group for this run. Double the runners, double the fun!
Time - The run starts at 6:15pm, so please arrive 10-15 min early to find parking and the group.
Pace and Distance - All levels of runners are welcome to join us. This run is out and back, so the distance is self-set. There are also several different routes available. Some walk, some do walk/run intervals, and some will run the whole distance.
Routes - The normal route is out to Jeffrey and back along the Hicks Canyon Hiking and Riding Trail for 4 miles total. You can do less if you like or you can add in the Jefferey Open Space Trail (JOST) for bonus miles.

What to bring -
• Your preferred hydration (There will be a few water fountains along the path)
• Headlamps or flashlights are recommended but are not required (There is lighting along all of the path, but a few dark spots along the way)
• A good pair of running shoes and comfortable clothes.
• You are also welcome to bring a guest.
Important Note - We constantly have new members join our runs, which is great, but if you plan on joining us please use the RSVP. If you are bringing a guest, please add them as a +1. It gives us a better idea of who you are, how many people there will be, helps us plan in advance, and it also attracts new members.
If you have any questions please feel free leave one in the comment section.
