What we’re about
Running for Brews - Cheaper Than Therapy Who ever said that you can't mix fun (running) with pleasure (good beer)...no one! Running For Brews is for all of those who enjoy getting out and breaking a sweat amongst the company of other fellow runners and then topping it off with an awesome craft brew and some great conversation.
All levels of runners, joggers, walkers, and drinkers are welcome!
When: Tuesdays at 7pm
• We encourage runners to meet by the trail at Southernside on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Around 7:30pm we find tables at Southernside Brewing Co (behind Unity Park) to enjoy drinks, food, and conversation!
• If you know you want to run further or need more time to complete the route, feel free to start at a time that works for you!
Where: Southernside Brewing Co (https://www.southernsidebrewing.com/) – Think Soul Yoga and Swamp Rabbit Crossfit (or El Thrifty if you have been around the area for a while)!
Route: We run a pre-planned 5k (3-mile) route, but you are welcome to run/jog/walk more or less! Please review the route before arriving! (Southernside Brewery Map.png - Google Drive)
• We start at Southernside Brewing Co and take the Swamp Rabbit Trail South toward Downtown and Falls Park.
• We run down the Swamp Rabbit Trail, under Main Street and the Liberty Bridge, then down towards Cancer Survivors Park.
• Once we reach the Cancer Survivors Park, which is a building that looks like it has a tent on top, we run around that top portion, and then head back the same way we came!
