Pannikin Run

We meet at 7:30 AM on the right side of the Pannikin coffee shop on 101 in Leucadia/Encinitas (it's the yellowish coffee shop with the patio seating). Look for a bunch of runners congregating. There is usually parking on 101 or on the street one block west of 101. Please do not park in the parking lot behind Pannikin.

This run is intended for anyone who wants to run an easy-paced long and flat run to get some good base miles in. A core group usually runs about 8 miles (to the end of the Carlsbad campgrounds and back), but since this is an out and back run, people come out and do whatever distance they need to, from 3 miles to 23 miles. We stick to the coast and we go out and back, so nobody will get lost or left behind, (we occasionally go south then we usually take Neptune to 2nd Street all the way down til it stops and make a left to the 101). This run is meant to be long and slow, but pace is relative. Hopefully we will have a few different groups, so everyone will have people to run with.

Bring some money for post-run coffee, food and post run endorphins at The Pannikin (the best part!)
