**Join us for our next Rural Queers adventure!**
We’ll meet in the charming village of Lower Slaughter, known for its idyllic setting along the River Eye and historic landmarks, making it the perfect backdrop for our walk.

We’ll set off at 12:30 from Copsehill Road, opposite The Slaughters Manor House, for a leisurely circular walk through the picturesque countryside. Our route will take us towards Bourton-on-the-Water, often called the "Venice of the Cotswolds" for its lovely stone bridges and the River Windrush running through the village. After strolling through this beautiful area, we’ll stop mid-way at *The Mousetrap Inn* for a well-deserved pint or two, where we’ve hopefully got some cosy tables reserved for our group to relax before continuing back to Lower Slaughter.

This walk is part of the *Rural Queers* ethos – creating safe, welcoming spaces for LGBTQ+ people, including trans and non-binary folks, in rural areas. Our group was born from a need to foster connection and build community, especially for those who may feel isolated or unseen in smaller towns and villages. Whether you're looking to meet new friends or simply enjoy a peaceful walk with like-minded people, you are very welcome here.

This walk is dog-friendly! Everyone is welcome, whether you’re walking solo, with friends, or bringing a furry companion.
I’ll be bringing my two little ones (aged 9 and 11) along for the walk, so feel free to join us with your family. Let’s enjoy a lovely day out together!
