In this talk, Amit Ziv-Kenet will share practical strategies, architectures, and implementation examples to overcome these obstacles, with a focus on integrating Rust and Python.My first commercial Rust application: A data updater
Alan Perkins is new to Rust, but has extensive Python experience, and has developed some large data applications in python, including one that processed between 150 million and 1 billion records every day for 5 years. When he had an opportunity to write a simple middleware data conversion layer that took a new database rehydration script from an AWS S3 bucket, and updated a postgreSQL database several times per day, he decided to write it in Rust.
