Finding Ground in a Sea of Change: A community event of interactive and experiential learning to build resiliency and community, connection and care via Constellation Work.
Lexi will offer a brief context for and an introduction to Constellation Work. We will devote most of the evening to setting Constellations via the group field that we will co-create, and working with what arises between us as we seek ground in this sea of change time.
Constellation Work is a powerful somatic practice based in African Tradition and Spirituality which uses the power of community, ceremony and the interconnected web of life we all share to shift our attention from trauma to gifts, from despair to possibility.
Constellation Work uses the power of group field and the natural laws of hierarchy and order inherent to all systems to create longed for shifts in our personal and collective territories. As we give place to what has been lost, forgotten, excluded or ignored, our sense of belonging and knowing of our place in the family of things naturally re-arises.
Lexi Alma is a dynamic teacher and devoted community builder as well as a mother, teacher, and land steward on a blossoming resilient ecosystems farm in Ashland, Oregon. Lexi has degrees in Education, Counseling Psychology and Group Facilitation, and has completed certifications with expert teachers and leaders in the fields of trauma, neuroscience, somatics, and has deeply studied the interface between science and spirituality. Lexi works with holistic and community-centric practices she calls Sacred Science*: Medicinal Storytelling, Somatic Integration, Ancestral Imprints (epigenetics), mindfulness and meditation practices, and Systemic Family Constellation Work. This powerful work teaches necessary tools for taking on one’s own transformation from inside the safe and sacred container of community. Alexis works directly with the brain so new neural pathways are built—this sustains positive and lasting change. Her laser sharp focus provides accurate reflection and input that will rapidly propel you forward to the place you long to arrive-home to yourself, home in community and anchored in belonging.

RVML’s Facebook Events Page - Overcoming Barriers to Speak as Yourself- Communication Tools to Bridge the GapRogue Valley Metaphysical Library, Ashland, OR
FREE ADMISSION – 1757 Ashland St., Ashland, OR. One mile west of I-5 Exit 14
Communication is the cornerstone of all the interactions we have. In everything we do, say, or even think, the way in which we do so impacts the world around us. From a simple wave in greeting, to explaining a complex topic, it is always what is relied on to make things work.
But not everyone can communicate so easily. While we do it every day, it can often be the part of the day we struggle with the most. A phrase misheard or a comment that is said the wrong way. Many people have difficulties even waving their hand, saying hello, or expressing their frustration. That’s an issue Chris, Daniel, and Connor from Speak as Yourself have been looking for a solution to help aid others with.
Learn about:
- Different forms of communication
- Different levels of communication challenges
- Current frustrations individuals face
- Current methods available
- What Speak as Yourself is doing to help
- What you can do to help
Join Chris and learn about the struggles that affect millions every day, and the ways we can work together to help them. Together we can help the world become a better place, if even only just a little.
Chris Boutin has been a graphic designer and illustrator professionally for more than 15 years and loves to share their work whenever possible. Born and raised in Medford, and partly growing up in Ashland with their dad part time, Chris has seen a lot of different styles of communication forms just from home.
Growing up as the oldest of seven, not only has Chris experienced communication challenges like difficulty reading people, but some of their siblings also experience a variety of challenges as well.
One of Chris’ lesser-known passions is clothing design. Wanting to do something more, he banded together with his friends Daniel and Connor to create “Speak As Yourself!” or “SAY!” for short, to bring one of his illustrations of a communication hoodie to life. Chris’s primary mission with SAY! is to provide communication tools that are accessible for kids and adults so everyone can speak as themselves.
