Day Hike (2A) Dry Creek (Delta-Sierra Group)

The Peggy Mensinger Trail takes us thru a greenway alongside a stream thru Modesto. We'll pass thru changing landscapes that include both public and private uses, with oak groves and other trees from beginning to end. 8-1/2 miles, flat, with a StanRTA Transit bus shuttle. Bring lunch and liquids. Trail sometimes exposed; sunscreen is advised.
Dogs are welcome. However, Transit rules require a pet carrier for your dog.
Rain Cancels. Leader keeps a slow pace with frequent stops. Gear list and other information will be provided.
