IMPORTANT: There is a $5 day use fee - you can purchase your pass day-of on site from the park headquarters next to the main parking lot.
Some trails can become nearly impassable if there is too much rain. As we near the hike date I will update if we need to modify our trail route.
This will be around an 8 mile hike at a moderate pace through some overgrown trails, a few steep climbs, potentially muddy areas with soft soils, and uneven ground. Insect repellant is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
We will stop briefly at the various water features and vista points along the trails.
[[[ Carry plenty of water ]]], wear shoes you can hike in and dress appropriately for the weather.
