River Park Speed Workout

We'll meet at 5:45 pm near the entrance to Glenn Hall Park for announcements. The workout starts immediately after and includes a warm up jog, interval workout, and cool down jog for a total of 4 - 7 miles. WORKOUT- 1600 at Threshold pace then 4 x 600 at 5k/200 rec

Wear lighted gear and light-colored clothing, bring water, watch for cars and stay to the side of the road.

Our runners are great at many things, but RSVPing is not necessarily one of them. Generally about 30 runners participate.

Participants run in separate groups depending on intended pace. Our course is exactly one mile long in the mostly shady River Park neighborhood. Since streets are not closed, it is vital that all runners stay to the left of the road and are alert to possible traffic.

Please take care to follow parking signs in the neighborhood. There is plenty of parking you may just need to go a block or two over from the park. We are guests in this neighborhood and ask everyone to be respectful of residents.
