Run to Feed the Hungry is a 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run to support Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services.

Thanksgiving morning - Thursday, November 28 2024 — Rain or Shine!

10K - 8:15 a.m.

5K - 9 a.m.

I will be leisurely walking the race. We will start at 8:15 AM with the 10K, but only walking the 5K. Feel free to signup any race. Then join us for the after party.

LOCATION

The event features a loop course that starts on J Street just west of the entrance to the Sacramento State campus and runs through the beautiful tree lined streets of East Sacramento. View the course map for more information.

GETTING TO THE EVENT

Plenty of parking is available at Sac State and surrounding East Sacramento neighborhoods. Please review the parking map for details. We highly recommend carpooling or biking to the event. Free monitored bike parking is available at the J St entrance to Sac State.

FINDING SAC GIRLFRIENZ TEAM

Updates will be posted on the comments section, closer to race day that morning. I will have some balloons hung on a tree to mark our meetup spot before and after the race. After the race join the Sac Girlfriends Afterparty!! I will provide some snack and refreshments. Possibly some bubbly too!

You don't have to be an athlete or runner to participate.

You can absolutely go at your own pace. If you have to walk, that's okay too.
