Peace Meditation Circle

Join us for a bi-weekly Peace Meditation . This group was started after the twin towers fell in New York in 2001 and has been meeting every other week since then.
In the summer months, meditations are held on the deck where participants can view dolphins, herons, egrets, pelicans, and gorgeous sunsets. In the winter months we meet around the fire.
There is a short reading followed by a 20 minute silent meditation. Following the meditation, a Talking Stick is passed. Participants may wish to share their meditation experience or something else that helps to uplift the group. Talking is not required and this is, in fact, an excellent opportunity to do what Erik Anderson describes as "deep listening". Prayers, silent or spoken, are shared at the end of the Peace Circle.
