Let’s make the most of this glorious day with a scenic and refreshing 4.4-mile walk along the beautiful American River. This easy-paced journey will take about an hour and a half, giving us plenty of time to soak in the peaceful surroundings.

Midway through, we’ll take a well-deserved break at Bannister Park, the perfect spot to relax, recharge, and enjoy the natural beauty around us. Don’t forget to bring a snack and a drink to savor during our pause.

For those who’d like to extend the day with a delicious treat, join us afterward for lunch at Royal Indian Cuisine, just a 10-minute drive from the trail. This cozy, family-run restaurant offers mouthwatering traditional Indian dishes and is the ideal way to cap off a wonderful outing.
