Join me for a scenic 6-mile out-and-back hike along the Pioneer Express Trail in Folsom. This moderate trail features minimal elevation gain, making it accessible for hikers of all levels. Along the way, you’ll enjoy views of oak woodlands, riparian creeks, freshwater wetlands, and possibly even catch a glimpse of local aquatic wildlife. We’ll take a break mid-hike to relax and enjoy a snack while soaking up the peaceful surroundings.

We’ll meet at 10AM at the Granite Bay Main Beach Parking Lot in the Folsom Lake Recreation Area. To find it easily, use these coordinates: 38.757216, -121.147529. Parking costs $10, or you can use a valid state park pass.
