What we’re about
Are you feeling lost, lonely, or simply having a difficult time in life? Being a human is hard enough and being an expat is even harder. The dream come true also comes with vulnerability, adjustment, and some psychological hardships in a foreign country. We all need some safe space to feel the support from the community. Curated by a psychotherapist, this group will be discussing various topics about mental health and how to deal with issues such as anxiety, stress, parenthood, and cultural differences. Sometimes we will be doing some therapeutic exercises to help you cope with whatever you are going through. The location will always be in the permanent location in Parede, Cascais. Let's start talking and let it out :)
Safe Space is a special project that is meant to provide customised mental health. It means exactly what it signifies. There should be a safe place for people to be vulnerable and to be understood. It does not matter if you simply need a place to decompress and exercise or suffer from a more serious stressor. We have services that fit a wide variety of needs; however, all of them have a therapeutic effect and are focused on mental health, self-exploration, balance, and stability. We offer yoga, meditation, and mindfulness sessions for existing clients as an extension of therapy and to people who simply want to have a place to relax and ground themselves. We also offer individual, couples, and group therapy sessions for those who want to overcome personal issues and traumas and live a more fulfilling and happy life.
