Sahaja Yoga is a spiritual movement that was initiated in 1970 by an Indian woman named Nirmala Srivastava (aka Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi). According to Shri Mataji, Sahaja Yoga is a practical approach to spirituality that can be practiced by anyone, regardless of their background or beliefs. For 41 years until her passing at 87, she traveled to over 90 countries, helping millions achieve inner peace and self-realization. Many regard her as an incarnation of the Divine Mother principle.
Gradually the teaching of Sahaja Yoga was taken up by those who practiced it and continues to be spread by them.
"Sahaja Yoga Meditation", "Sahajayoga Meditation" and "Sahaja Meditation" are different presentations of Sahaja Yoga that highlight meditation and the benefits which come from regular meditation.
