Coyote Hills Regional Park, located on the eastern shore of SF Bay offers hiking in grass-covered hills with some nice rock formations and marshlands.

Our hike will be led by members Soroor and Hans. Our hike is a "moderate" @5 miles over 2+ hours through grassland and hills with beautiful views of the Bay and marshlands and a variety of wildlife. Dogs allowed on leash.

Meet at 9:00 am in Coyote Hills Regional Park. Park ranger says parking lot can fill up and they occasionally close the lot till spaces open up. Allow extra time as we can wait 10 minutes before heading out. $5 entrance fee and $2/dog. After you pay, park in the first parking lot on the left (gravel lot). Meet by the grassy area with the low fence.

How to get to the park:
The park's main entrance is at the west end of Patterson Ranch Road/Commerce Drive in Fremont. From 84 going east, take exit 36 for Thornton Ave toward Paseo Padre Parkway. Drive north on Paseo Padre Parkway for about one mile. Turn left on Patterson Ranch Road.
