Lunch at Afghan Awasana Kabob. This unassuming restaurant has a cozy, family-run vibe. Menu is authentic and delicious. Food and service receive excellent reviews. Our reservations will be for outside but in inclement weather we'll be seated inside.

Afghan Awasana Kabob can be hard to find. Parking can be difficult with plenty of street parking.

After lunch we'll take a short drive to visit a small Afghani Market in Newark. Herat Market also sells freshly baked delicious bread.

Since this lunch is preceded by a hike we may reserve lunch for 11:30 instead. Please check back for updates.
