What we’re about

Routine cold plunging (the act of voluntarily immersing oneself in cold water for 2-5 minutes) has many benefits, including but not limited to:

  • Marked growth of the anteror mid cingulate cortex (connected with longevity, discipline, and more)

  • Enhanced mental resilience, as regular cold exposure trains the body to manage stress and promotes a positive stress response (adaptation of the nervous system).

  • Improved immune function, with cold exposure increasing the production of white blood cells and boosting the immune response, potentially leading to fewer instances of illness.

Increased production of norepinephrine and dopamine, resulting in enhanced mood, alertness, and a reduction in symptoms associated with depression and anxiety.

  • Accelerated muscle recovery due to reduced inflammation and the constriction of blood vessels, making it a popular practice among athletes to reduce soreness after intense workouts.

  • Improved circulation and cardiovascular health, as cold plunging stimulates blood flow and forces the body to adapt to changes in temperature, promoting heart health.

  • Enhanced fat burning, specifically by activating brown adipose tissue (BAT), which helps convert fat into energy, supporting weight management and metabolic health.

  • Better sleep quality, as cold exposure has been linked to improved sleep onset and more restful sleep due to its regulatory effects on core body temperature.

Our group is all about embracing the invigorating benefits of cold plunging in a supportive, community setting! We meet in small, close-knit groups of 3-8 people to keep the experience personal, encouraging, and safe. Whether you’re new to cold plunging or a seasoned enthusiast, you’ll find a welcoming vibe and a shared commitment to wellness here.

Meeting Times & Locations:
We organize both day and night plunges, allowing flexibility for different schedules and experiences under various conditions. While our main events are on weekends to make it accessible to as many people as possible, we occasionally hold weekday sessions too.

Post-Plunge Gatherings:
After each plunge, we encourage groups to head to a cozy spot nearby to warm up, share stories, and dive into discussions on health, wellness, and lifestyle tips. Warm, nourishing food is highly recommended and adds to the overall experience, helping you refuel and enjoy the company of like-minded folks.
