This event will begin with a body scan to progressively relax the body and bring the mind into presence. This meditation is followed by a 30-40 minute sound journey with Crystal Bowls and an Atlantis Gong.

This type of meditation can be beneficial in cases of chronic pain where the nervous system becomes trapped in a constant "fight or flight" or sympathetic system response. In this state, pain signals are not being delivered as they should. This condition is known as central sensitization or central amplification, where the central nervous system becomes overly sensitive and the pain signals are intensified. A relaxed and balanced nervous system does not amplify pain signals.
