Join us for a journey through the mystical and psychological dimensions of Hermann Hesse’s work. This talk will explore how Theosophy and Jungian psychology have shaped Hesse’s literary quest for deeper truths and spiritual enlightenment. Hesse’s protagonists often embark on personal journeys of self-discovery, mirroring Theosophical and Jungian concepts. In this talk, we will also discuss how Hesse’s characters strive to connect with their inner divine light or higher self, a journey resonant with Jung’s concept of individuation — integrating various aspects of the self to achieve psychological wholeness.
