The San Antonio Violin Meetup Group is here to support violinists, music enthusiasts, symphony and orchestral enthusiasts. Anyone who is interested should sign up and come meet with us. We have demonstrations from makers and luthiers, along with violin accessories manufacturers and sometimes we just like to get together and play.

Our Fiddle and Traditional Music Jam Group is led by Peter White at the Antonio Strad Violin, San Pedro location.

We get together to discuss, play and learn all types of fiddle and traditional music from Appalachian fiddle to bluegrass and Texas fiddle.

This group is open to everyone including beginners looking to learn or seasoned players. With the goal of uniting music enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. If you want to get together and make acoustic music for fun and camaraderie, this is the group for you.

We hold jam sessions on the first and third Saturday of every month at 1:00.
